Personal Review :
A good selection of Delmonicos and other steaks and chicken. We stopped here
recently for an early afternoon lunch and were treated to a practically empty
restaurant. Only one waiter was on duty at the time, but he was very capable
of handling the 3 or 4 occupied tables. If anything, the service got to be
a bit too much. It was an experience. Our waiter was very accomodating in
allowing us to split a salad, bringing us two plates with the salad already
arranged, with extra dressing. We also tried a cup of the chili. This was
a nicely spiced chili with chunks of beef and tomatoes. One of the specials
we tried was the Cajun Ribeye. Nice flavor, though the steak itself had a
bit more fat than I would have liked. The vegetable, corn on the cob, was,
as I was forwarned by our waiter, frozen and not as good a fresh. But then,
we were out of season. All in all, it was a good meal at reasonable prices;
not great, but certainly worth stopping in again sometime.
