Much improved. The salsa was still a bit on the mild side, but you can ask
for hotter (laced with habanero). Pretty good stuff. The food was very good
at this visit, a noticeable improvement since our last visit a couple years
back. They also have a good selection of mexican beers including negra modelo,
dos equis and corona among others. Lista's is definitely worth a return visit.

When it comes to atmosphere and a great harbor-side location, Lista's is a very
pleasant place to visit. And, while it wasn't top-notch Mexican fare in
the vein of the Southwest restaurants I'm used to (having grown up near the
Mexican border), we did enjoy the meal. The salsa on the other hand was, in
a word, wimpy. Watery and tasteless, it had no zing. Even the hotter
selection we got from the chef when we told the waitress we needed something
with more zip was only slightly better. Flavor was improved by mixing the
two, but hardly worth the effort. If you want to add some fire, byos
(bring your own salsa).
