Personal Review :
A new Japanese Steak and Seafood restaurant opened in Shrewsbury
about 7 months ago located next to Wal-Mart. We decided to give it
a try on the way home one evening. We were early (just after 5pm)
so there were few people there yet (two couples). More people
began to filter in around 6pm. The fare here is typical of the
Japanese-style steak houses in that you sit around the grill as a
cook prepares your meal with lots of flourish. We had the Filet Mignon
and Shrimp dinner and Filet Mignon and Scallop dinner, both priced
reasonably at $22.95. [Dinners range from $13 - $23; Lunches from $7-$13]. Meals are served with shrimp appetizer, house
soup, salad with Japanese dressing, steamed (or fried) rice and
vegetable. The cook was fun to watch and we got very good
service. The meal was excellent and very plentiful. No danger of going
out hungry here. The atmosphere was very pleasant and serene. The interior
was heavy with light laquered wood and interior walls with glass block
that gave a special interest and a little extra light from the windows just
beyond (in the waiting area). Ginza Japanese Steak House is listed as
#3, so there are others in the area (Baltimore and Harrisburg, I believe).
We really enjoyed the evening at Ginza and will undoubtedly return.
