Personal Review {07-March-2003}:
I was a bit hesitant to stop in for dinner at Friendly's last
week since the first visit more than a year ago was a near
disaster...bad/slow service mostly, dirty restaurant. But, we
ended up there when a nearby restaurant turned out to be so
smoky we could even get all the way in the front door without
choking up (Carrabbara's). We were very pleasantly surprised
with the difference. We had great service from a very amiable
waitress, a nice clean environment, no smoke and very good
food. The menu has changed a bit sporting a number of very
good looking, interesting items I think we'd enjoy. On this
visit, we had the burger and chicken and steak fajitas. Prices
were very reasonable. Given the latest experience, I would
certainly make a repeat visit to Friendly's.
