Personal Review :
Carrabba's Italian Grill is a chain of Italian restaurants which
looks enticing. I don't know what the food is like. The building
looked nice, and the interior seemed nice, what we saw of it after
having the door opened for us by one of the staff. The trouble
is, there was so much cigarette smoke that we
literally threw up our hands and said NO, we can't handle
this and abruptly turned and walked out. How can anyone enjoy
good food in such an unpleasant environment? For people
who have health problems which are aggravated by smoke, don't even
waste your time trying to eat at Carrabba's. Maybe it was better
further in (the bar was right at the front door), but I have no
intention of running the smoke gauntlet knowing I'd just have to
do it again to get out (let alone have my clothes smelling of
smoke all night and getting sick as a result). Nope. Carrabba's
was worth a try, but they lose. What is amazing to me is that
such restaurant's think they will lose business by eliminating
smoking. I have yet to find a non-smoking restaurant hurting for
business. On the other hand, those that do allow smoking are
most certainly turning away business! We certainly won't go back.
