More Scripting
I returned to writing the list2ldap script, finished it, and started testing on my machine. But the testing will need to be done on happy. I wrote another script to count the web pages on our site (census.pl). It also needs to be tested.

Revised Plan
Craig reported problems during the test of the ldap manager. I tracked them down and found that they were caused by an error in the installation instuctions, so I changed them.

Extend and Revise
My ldap2list script runs on happy. I am extending it so it includes the functionality of the previous script.

Permissions fixed
I was able to apply the permissions file. It fixed the problem with the Zope LDAP manager and I requested a move to test. I looked at the mailing list script. It doesn't need any changes, but I'm considering melding it with the update_alias.pl script.

Another holdup
I think the problem adding new mailrecipient records was caused by an omission in the report generation code. I've fixed the omission, but can't test it because I've lost access to slappy3. I've looked at the script to create new mailing list ntries in the alias file. It should be fairly easy to modify.

Debugging
The bad links checker choked on a big file. I added a new test for archive extensions (gz, zip, tar) to solve the problem. I noticed our favicon file is no loner seen because of a rewrite problem and reported it.
