Big Problems

I worked on finishing the content manager code and held the par lessons learned meeting. A bug in the ldap administration interface caused me to delete the ldap database and we had to restore it from backup.

Tests Passed

I got all my unit tests for the content manager to pass. Otto reports thatmy email alias script passes his check.

Content Manager

I worked on getting the unit tests for my content manager library to pass.

Done

I committed the change to SearchLDAP to svn and finished the LDAPReport product, wrote up a test plan, and asked for it to be moved to test.

Close to Done

The par fixes work and I will upload them tomorrow. A final test of Palm downloads with LDAPReport found a few glitches, which I am fixing.

Testing PAR

I spent the day testing the PAR application and fixing the palm download documentation.

Bug Fixing

I fixed a problem with the branch and division functions in LDAPReport. Mark also resolved my problem with Mysql.

Documentation

I rewrote the help files for LDAP Report.

Not Solvable

The problem with getting the Mac version of Palm Desktop to read the output of LDAPReport is not solvable. It looks for a file type code equal to "SimpleText Document". The file type code is a bit of Mac arcana left over from OS 9 and there's no way I can set it on the server side. After I figured this out, I did some more tweaking of the code. Monday I'll do the documentation and write the test plan for sure.

Frustration

I made minor changes to the ldap report code. I tried to get Palm Desktop on a Mac to read the output file, but failed.
