Back Tracking

I spent the day investigating Otto's complaint about my alias file conversion script and concluded he was right. I will make the fix tomorrow.

It Moves

I got LDAPReport to kind of sort of, work, but it needs more tinkering before being released. I looked at some Zope code for guidance.

Old School

I'm debugging LDAPReport the old fashioned way: printing to a log. I've made a little progress, but it still needs more work.

LDAPReport

I've written the dtml forms for LDAPReport and I'm debugging the new product.

Stuff

I rewrote the code in par that runs the thread that populates the database so that it won't exit on error. I also contiued work on the create form for the new ldap palm phonelist.

More Bugs

Dan told me that the metadata edit screen needed the same fix as the configure screen, so I added it. Sheryl reports a manager was not updated in the par application. I reviewed the code and reran my development version and found no problems. So I suggested a restart. I also reviewed my Palm phonebook work with an eye toward finishing it.

New Scoping

I wrote the scoping for the follow on ldap work.

Fixed Metadata Problem

I found and fixed the metadata problem, which turned out not to be a problem with the Python code, but with the dtml metadata configuration form.

Debugging Metadata

I spent the day trying to debug the zope metadata problem. It seems to be caused by a confusion between folders in the dtml form, but I haven't yet tracked it down.
