In Transit

I did some more testing of the packdb script with the number of
days set to seven. I'm still not absolutely sure it works. Maybe I can
try looking at the log files on Monday. I've added it as a cron job to
make sure it runs in that mode. I looked at the rss feed bug for a
bit, with no great results. Then I went back to the Zope Moves in
Remedy project and added the escalations that will be sent when moves
stall in the pipeline. This completes all the necessary code. Now I
just need to complete testing.

Packdb debugging

I've tested packdb and it may or may not be working. That is, it
gives a 200 status, but returns immediately, which is
suspicious. Maybe it has an internal quik check for date last
packed. I'll have to ask for permission to try a "real" pack date. I
also attended a meeting on Sun's Information Manager and my questions
may have earned me a spot on the project.

Packdb Finished

I finished coding packdb. It still needs to be tested. Greg found
problems with my rss code during testing, so I'll have to retest.

Packdb

I checked the phonebook to make sure it runs as a cron job. And I
started work on the script to pack the Zope database.

Phonebbok Finished

I finished coding the corrections to the phonebbok report and asked
the DVAs to check the result.

Debugging Ldapreport

Ldapreport isn't displaying telphone extensions. I'm debugging the
code to try to figure out why.

Telphone Repair

I spent the day fixing up telphone book entries in preparation for
the next release.

RSS Bug Fix

Jim told me that Mike Wiggs was running into problems because of
the rss_link code. I was forced to rewrite it to fix the bug, then I
tested it, and asked that it be moved to the test machine. Then I got
a complaint about the Hopkins prefixes going missing from the Phone
book. I modified the ldapreport code to add them back in, but haven't
fully tested the fix yet.

More Remedy

I wrote the test plan for the rss module and submitted the move
request. Then I checked and completed the email notifications and
logging messages for the Remedy version of the Zope move pipeline.

RSS and Remedy

I ran my first web coordination meeting, which meant throwing
together a listing of my code for the code review. I also did more
work with Greg on thputting the Zopes move pipeline in remedy. Today
we modified the tester round rbin so that the tester is not the
submitter, created a filter so the tester cannot be set to the
submitter, hid the tester field on initial submit, and added a needed
by date field.
