I finished modifying my goals and objectives, which is the last thing I promised to write last week. I looked at Gretchen's web notification problem, but haven't yet resolved it.

TWiki Question

Gretchen asked me about how to to configure web page notification in TWiki. I researched the question and told her that the most likely cause of the problem was the mailnotify script wasn't running regulrly. I also worked on updating my goals and objectives.

ZPT Proposal

I finished the draft of the ZPT proposal and held a meeting to determine what work still needs to be done on the MASTDB project.

The Long Slog

More work on the CSS?ZPT proposal. Bobby Edwards reported a new problem with the LDAP management interface. Since there's a work around I gave it a lower priority. I did some management stuff and scheduled a meeting on the MASTDB project for tomorrow.

More Proposal Work

I reworked the Selenium proposal and sent it around to our group. I then searched the web for background info on the ZPT/CSS proposal and bookmarked some pages (in delicious.)

Selenium

I had a look at the fix I did yesterday because I thought there might be some issues with case sensitivity. It turned out that there weren't any, so I closed the call. Then I wrote a project proposal to install Selenium (actually Zelenium, the Zope wrapper for it) as our regression test suite.

TCL scripting

Matt threw me a bug report on our web front end to Majordomo. It seems that some email addresses ar in majordomo with the site appended and some without. So doing a match on an email address sometimes files. I first proposed fixing the problem by updating our mailing lists so that every mail address has the site appended. And I wrote a Perl script to do this. Matt didn't like that solution, so I revised the script to remove the domain before doing the match, thus matching both kinds of email addresses.

CVS Permissions

I worked on the problem I have getting files added to CVS from battra. The problem doesn't seem to be with CVS, it seems to be in making a connection between machines. The connection times out even when doing a non-cvs related command. I checked file permissions in CVS, checked the .rhost file, etc.

TWiki Security Alerts

I started working the outstanding TWiki secuirty alerts.

Finished Add Person Form

I put together a working version of the change to the add person form for the LDAP management screen, tested it, and submitted the move request.
