I finished the shell script interface and tested it on protom. I also
helped Greg with with Zope repair script.

The script was tested and, after some hair pulling, now works.

Converted the pingldap script so that it talks to Big Brother. Still
needs testing.

I finished daemonizing the pingldap script and updated the
documentation for trendfile on the wiki, as Lynn requested.

I wrote a new report for Linda Kaiser to generate a new report on
active ESS memmbers. I also reviewed my open calls, I closed 8 and 4
remain open.

I answered a user question about synphot. Lynn suggested my trendfile
scripts should compress the input files and work with compressed
files. After talking to her I think I convinved her the problem was
with the number of files and not their size. So that work is on
hold. Linda Kaiser asked for new ldap capability and I suggested it
could be done as a new report.

I spent the day in the web services class and also worked on a synphot
question.

I took the web services course and worked two (simple) calls: making
Cindy Pantalone an LDAP administrator (CNSHD507847) and restoring
editing privileges to a TWiki user (CNSHD504284).

I installed the software for tomorrow's workshop and investigated a
TWiki problem.

I tested the "once only" version of pingldap and got it to work. Then
I changed it to get a demonized, permanent version.
