Today I started working on moving the alternate phone number in LDAP
into its own field. I made new versions of the existing software that
access the telephone field and with Harry I added the new field to LDAP.
The remaining work is to move the data in LDAP to a new field, which
will be done by script I will write. This is call CNSHD 421727.

The segmentation fault is thrown when insufficient information is sent
to the cgi script. I revised it to send the html page with the input
form in this case. I also did a general cleanup on the script. The
script is now working and linked from our website, so I consider the
work done. This work is being tracked as call CNSHD456534. I also
revised the Mhonarc documentation to incoporate suggested changes made
by Matt and Otto.

I spent the day adding information to my Mhonarc documentation and
helping Tony install his cgi script. The script threw a segmentation
fault when run (it's C) and I promised Tony I would debug it tomorrow.

Got back to work after a two day holiday. Wrote up the installation
instructions for TWiki and answered a few questions from
Gretchen. Tested Leigh's consolidated wiki. Started wotking with Tony
on moving his cgi script to kahuna.

I did the tables layout, but had to back it out when it proved mored
difficult than expected. As an alternative I located the content that
broke the layout in IE and deleted it. I moved over the NVO and STScI
logos and declared the project finished.

The TWiki website is in good shape, except that it displays badly in
IE. To fix this, I'll probably go to a tables based layout.

Greg pointed me to the skins section of the TWiki website, where I
found the void skin, which is very similar to the void skin used by
IVOA. I installed the skin, configured it, and debugged it (with
Greg's help), so now the NVO TWiki is reasonably presentable. I'll
finish up configuring the look and feel tomorrow morning and show it
to Gretchen.

I spent the day trying to learn the templating system that Twiki uses.

I talked to Gretchen about how she wanted the Wiki to look and started
working on updating the TWiki look and feel. I didn't get very far, as
the Twiki templating is complicated.

I configured the authorization and tested the TWiki. Everything seems
to work fine. The remaining work is to set up the redirect from nvo
and configure the look and feel.
