I looked at the errors in the end user editor, figured out what caused
them and (hopefully) fixed them. I also talked with Harry about the
new separation of LDAP roles. He says it can't be handled with the
current code, but he may have some development code which handles the
problem.

Today was a short day. I discovered a show stopping bug in the end
user editor and I am investigating it. I wrote a procedure for the
chron jobs I wrote that identifies where they are and when they were
run, so I can keep track of them better.

Yesterday I ran badlinks for the first time and today I dealt with the
bugs uncovered by the inevitable user complaints. I also added code to
write the curator to the output logfile and a new debugging
mode. Leigh submitted two calls and I tested them, as this is my week
to do this. I also tried to duplicate Anne's problem with the enduser
editor, but couldn't.

Most of my time today was spent fixing a bug in the dtml-mail tag in
Zope. Jim identified the problem as a bug in rfc822, I made up a
hotfix and installed it. I also started compiling the WingIDE, but got
pulled away by the prviously mentioned problem.

I'm sorry to say I didn't get much more done today than setting up the
curators list in badlinks.pl

I did more work on the LDAP and looked some more at the wiki problem.

I finished writing and testing the task to notify the DVAs of updates
to LDAP. It's called updates.pl and I've stuck it in the ldap
directory tree on my machine. Tonight I'll run the cron job and if it
works, it goes into production.

Worked on various small things all day. I've started writing a task to
catch and email ldap updates.

All in all, a very frustrating day. I checked out the end user editor
to make sure it worked and submitted a call to move it. It checkout
from CVS didn't go well, so I had to figure out a way to check it into
CVS again. I'm not happy with the way CVS is set up for zope. I tried
to duplicate the zope logout error without success on my Sun and
PC. This is becoming a problem, as I can't solve problems I can't
duplicate.

I finished up work on badlinks.pl. (Unless someone wants it to support
authentication.)
