I fininished adding the technical lead field to the small projects
wiki, and submitted a move request. I also worked with Greg on Crystal
Reports some more.

In the morning I contined working on adding the technical lead to the
small projects wiki. The code was changed, but for some reason the
value is not yet displaying on the summary page. In the afternoon I
switched gears and helped Greg modify the Remedy reporting code in
Zope and move the Crystal Reports over to the new version.

I told Craig I couldn't figure out how to make the discussion board
catalog aware and we punted the problem. Instead I deleted the code to
delete a posting from the bulletin board. I also fixed a problem with
the post date formatting. I started work on adding a technical lead
field to the small projects wiki.

In the morning I worked some more on solving the reindexing problem
with the discussion board product. I took a different approach, I
tried to make the board "catalog aware". After some searching I came
to the conclusion that there's no documentation on making a Product
(as opposed to a ZClass) catalog aware. So I looked at the source code
and am trying what seems most logical to me. Still, I haven't got it
fixed yet. In the afternoon Greg and I installed the new Crystal
Reports on my PC and we copied over an old Remedy Calls report to see
how it works. The new product supplies a web interface and it seems to
work with modern browsers that support DHTML.

Craig's problem was harder than I thought, because there's no function
to reindex a catalog that can be called from Python I was forced to
delve into the Catalog code and figure out how to write my own. I also
gave a short LDAP presentation to TIM.

In the morning I made a Power Point presentation on LDAP in
preparation for a talk I will give tomorrow. In the afternoon I worked
on a problem with deletions in the ZDiscussions product that Craig
uncovered.

I finished up debugging the new mixin class, which is called
STEditableObject. I removed the virtualURL code and changed the forms
that use it. That's because it won't be needed with
VirtualHostMonster. I tried to get the Epoz code to work with
endUserEditor, but so far haven't gotten it to work.

Today I went back to working on endUserEdit. I looked at the Siteroot
problem and placed the new code into its own class.

I finished working on ZUBB and I think I have a working product. I
sent it off to Craig for confirmation. I got my new PC and spent some
time configuring it the way I like it.

In the morning I looked at a problem with long phone numbers in the
LDAP directory. Then I reinstalled ZUBB and looked for the problem in
the discussion board.
