In the morning our LDAP server crashed and I spent some time on
that. I modified the LDAP search code to produce a nicer message when
the server is down. I tested two of Leigh's Zope changes. And I stared
some more at the STDocuments code to see how to update it for the end
user editor.

I'm back from vacation. I installed Harry's LDAP manager changes on
integration, tested them, and put together a test plan and asked to
have them moved to test. After lunch I was asked to work on an enduser
edit widget for Zope, so I talked with Steve and Anne about the
project and started looking at how to implement it.

I finished coding the parsing half of the rewrite rule debugger and I
am in the process of debugging it. I'll be on vacation until next
Tuesday, so no more updates. And this page now uses CSS layout and
validates
as XHTML.

I found the bug in the OT Wiki, fixed it and moved the revised Wiki to
test. Then I returned to coding the rewrite rule debugger.

In the morning I assisted Greg in working some calls. In the
afternoon, I added Technical Lead to the OT project wiki and ran into
a nasty bug that I am still trying to debug.

In the morning I threw together a projects wiki for the Office of
Technology. In the afternoon I started working on the rewrite rules
debugger.

I finished coding and testing the C version of ext. I handed it to
Harry to test and he says it's twice as fast as the Python version.
I created the OT Project wiki, but I want to incorporate the small
project wiki enhancements before handing it over.

I was working on the C version of ext all day. It mostly works, with
the exception that it throws a segmentation violation if too many
records match.

I resolved the problem with the tozope script. Yesterday's fix was
just a work around. I also finished coding the new version of ext (the
C version), though there are some prototype mismatches to sort out.
Happy Tax Day.

Today I spent most of my time fixing up the searchPoints that I had
missed earlier. I also found a solution for Jessica Kim's problem with
tozope.
