As always, it's something very simple that makes me feel foolish. The contributors metadata item needed to have the lines type, so it would be read as a sequence. I checked it out and it was a problem with an extra blank at the end of a line. And you thought Python was the only language that cared about blanks. Then I beat my head against the metadata upload problem in my tozope.pl script. I didn't resolve it, but the upload crashes on line 133 of the metadataEdit method. Leigh and Steve reported a permissions problem with my STWebsite product. It turns out the problem is that I used the "view" permission rather than the "View" permission. Mike Wiggs was have a problem with the set status page in the TSD project wiki. It turns out that he left a blank line in the list of statuses and the problem went away when it was deleted. The problem I was having with the project wiki yesterday has mysteriously disappeared.
